Hilda van der Meulen was born and raised in Friesland, where she took her first entrepreneurial steps as an equestrian entrepreneur. After her unexpected victory as Miss Holland she represented the Netherlands at Miss World in Sun City, South Africa (1993).

Her career took her to London, Paris, Monaco and Los Angeles — as model, actress and TV presenter. Through her Hollywood network she developed deep knowledge of project creation, financing and executive producing. Her work in film and television includes acting, creative development and production.

After becoming a mother in 2013, Hilda consciously chose a new direction: exclusively purpose-driven projects and businesses with significant cultural and sustainable impact.

From the revival of the Frisian Museum Village Allingawier to her role as non-executive board member at Green Earth Group NV — listed on Euronext Amsterdam — from international film productions to strategic brand consulting — Hilda brings her unique combination of Frisian roots and international outlook to every project.
