Hilda serves as a non-executive board member, contributing strategic direction and international network to the company's mission of large-scale, measurable forest recovery.
The company connects individuals, families and organisations to verified reforestation projects — bridging private capital with environmental impact.

Het Friese Museumdorp
Director (2016–2019) · Adviser
Open-air museum in Allingawier — an authentic mound village in the peat meadow area of southwest Friesland, cradle of the world-famous Frisian pedigree cattle.
Under her leadership the village received a renewed, narrative museum concept, and the restaurant 'It Ferhaal' opened its doors: organic, fair-trade, local and seasonal, developed together with Stenden University.

In 2010 Hilda co-founded Farmhouse Film & TV together with Klaas de Jong — a Frisian company with a “Hollywood” mindset, producing entertainment with a positive impact. Titles include Michiel de Ruyter and Redbad. Below a number of the films:
Verliefd op Ibiza
Verliefd op Ibiza is Hilda van der Meulen's own idea. The film tells four stories of Dutch people of all ages on Ibiza, all reaching a climax at a show by dj Armin van Buuren. With Rick Engelkes, Jim Bakkum, Kim Feenstra, Simone Kleinsma, Jan Kooijman, Lone van Roosendaal, Gigi Ravelli and Marly van der Velden.
Apenstreken
Apenstreken is also Hilda van der Meulen's idea, and the first Dutch film shot entirely in 3D. This heartwarming film is inspired by the drawings of Cornelis Jetses, known from his classic schoolbook illustrations. Ten-year-old Wim dreams of going to school, but lives in an orphanage where he is exploited and works daily in a textile factory. When Wim manages to escape, Jet helps him hide on her farm — the start of a race against time full of exciting adventures and new friendships.
Penny's Shadow
For Penny's Shadow, Hilda van der Meulen was co-writer and head of the horse department. The black stallion Shadow, a descendant of one of the rescue horses of Ameland, lives in a stable on the campsite. Kai (Levi van Kempen) is now more in love with kitesurfing, while Lisa (Liza Sips) adores horses above all else — she's convinced she can earn Shadow's trust again.
Golden Film & Cinekid Award — Penny's Shadow reached Golden Film status in July 2011, after more than 100,000 admissions since its cinema release. It won the 2011 Cinekid Award for Best Dutch Children's Film.
Bennie Stout
Hilda van der Meulen's credit on Bennie Stout is assistant director. This family adventure film is set in the 1930s: Bennie causes mischief wherever he goes with his homemade soapbox cart, and wishes above all for Sinterklaas to bring his father home from Spain in time for the holidays.
